The overall objectives of the EHS Management Standing Committee:

• Guarantee access to the EU market for metals and metal compounds
• Assert the sustainability of metals and the industry's responsible behaviour in respect of environmental protection, pollution prevention and occupational health
• Develop a proactive attitude vis-à-vis any environment, health and safety issues likely to have an impact on the sector's activities and future development
